Visa Categories
Botswana has two visa categories which different nationalities fall under. These are listed below:
Non-Visa Category: No visa is required. No action or fee needed. Stamp is for 30 days, which can be extended.
Visa-Category: Visa is required and applied for before travelling. Can take between 7 to 14 days.
Length of stay - All nationalities can stay for a maximum of 90 days in any 12 month period for holiday purposes, without a permit.

Visa Types*
• A Single Entry visa allows you to enter Botswana one time. Once you have used it for an entry and exit, you cannot use it again.
• A Multiple Entry visa allows you to enter Botswana more than once. Valid for up to 90 days.
